Humaid Al-Shamsi: I had the privilege of briefing the President of the United Arab Emirates on the advancements in cancer care in the UAE

Humaid Al-Shamsi, Director of Burjeel Cancer Institute (BCI) Comprehensive Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“I had the privilege of briefing His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, on the advancements in cancer care in the UAE. In our forthcoming book, we conducted a thorough review of the progress made and extensively discussed the current challenges.

Moreover, we have proposed practical approaches to effectively tackle these challenges.

As the president of the Emirates Oncology Society and director of oncology services at Burjeel Holdings, I am committed to furthering the advancement of cancer care in the UAE and the entire region, aiming to better serve our people and nation. I express my sincere gratitude to His Highness for his unwavering support and appreciation of our dedicated efforts.”
