Ramy Sedhom shared a post by Eric Singhi on X/Twitter:

“Yes…AND there is one other intervention with multiple positive RCTs demonstrating benefit for patients and caregivers, improves quality of life, coping, prognostic understanding, costs of care, satisfaction, and survival.

Not mentioned once… Early Palliative Care.”

Quoting Eric Singhi’s post:

“The face of lung cancer has changed, and our care for young adults needs to catch up!

A holistic approach is crucial:
Risk factors
Genetic predisposition
Clinical/molecular profiling
Sexuality/fertility
Psychosocial/QoL outcomes.”
