Myth #1: Cancer is contagious.
Actually, cancer is not transmitted through touch, hugs, or any form of casual contact. Cancer is a result of genetic mutations or other factors that lead to the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells within the body.
A child fighting cancer and his/her family needs empathy, any support and understanding, and not definitely an isolation. They need to be strong to be able to fight mentally and physically to fight and to overcome the disease.”
