“Humanitas is making waves at ASH2023!
Several outstanding works have been presented in San Diego by our team.
- Saverio D’Amico as CEO of TRAIN, Humanitas spin-out specialized in Generative AI for healthcare, highlighted the advantages of adopting Generative AI and synthetic data as a control arm in clinical trials.
- Gianluca Asti showed advanced methodologies for medical text report analysis to improve personalized medicine in hematology.
- Elisabetta Sauta showed innovative approaches for MultiModal data integration (clinical, genomics, imaging) to improve the prediction of clinical outcomes in hematological malignancies.
- Cristina Tentori developed a clinical decision support system (CDSS) based on molecular patient profiles to identify the optimal timing of transplantation for MDS patients.
- Luca Lanino proposed a new molecular classification of chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML) based on clinical and genomic features and provided a data-driven harmonization for current MDS classifications.
- Alessia Campagna talked about the gut Microbiome as a potential marker and therapeutic target in hematological malignancies and contributed to the education program on “Mutational screening to improve the transplantation decision-making process in MDS.”
