“The psychosocial service of the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia, in cooperation with the Do Re Meet NGO, has initiated a music therapy program when talented musicians regularly visit our Center, creating a positive and peaceful environment for our patients and their relatives through their melodies.
The healing effect of music has been known for a long time. Many observations and studies also showcase how music can act as an effective tool in terms of improving psychological well-being and balance during long-term treatment.
A music therapy is a proven, clinical, and evidence-based use of music interventions and is widely used by our Psychosocial service.
The psychosocial service of the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia always cares about the psychological balance during the treatment period of anyone in the clinic.”
