Paolo Gontero is the Director of the Urology Clinic at Ospedale Molinette, University of Turin, a position he has held since November 2016. He is also an Associate Professor of Urology at the same institution, where he has worked since 2010. In addition to his clinical and teaching roles, Paolo serves as the Director of the Master in Oncology Urology and Vice Chairman of the Department of Urology.
Specializing in oncological urological surgery, Dr. Paolo has expertise in robotic and laparoscopic surgery for prostate and kidney cancer, as well as reconstructive urology and surgical andrology for conditions like impotence and Peyronie’s disease. His research interests include minimally invasive therapies for prostate cancer, surgery for high-risk prostate cancer, and bladder cancer.
