“Outcomes of Cytoreductive Radical Prostatectomy for Oligometastatic Prostate Cancer on Prostate-specific Membrane Antigen Positron Emission Tomography: Results of a Multicenter European Study out on European Urology Oncology.

This study evaluates the outcomes of cytoreductive radical prostatectomy (cRP) in patients with de novo oligometastatic prostate cancer (omPCa) detected via PSMA-PET imaging. Among 116 patients treated at 13 European centers, omPCa was defined by limited metastases to bones, lymph nodes, or lungs.

The study highlights the potential for early progression in some patients, suggesting the need for multimodal therapy.”
