Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus welcomes Bundestag Budget Committee members to the World Health Organization
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director, World Health Organization shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Welcome here to the World Health Organization, Bundestag Budget Committee members.
Germany’s financial and political support is absolutely critical to the work of WHO, but also Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance and The Global Fund. Our three organizations complement each other in delivering Health For All.
All three of us are essential, and all three of us must be fully funded, which is why I have been proud to support the Global Fund’s replenishment and Gavi’s Investment Opportunity.
This year’s WHO Investment Round aims to mobilize the sustainable funding we need to implement our work over the next four years.
We continue to seek your support to advocate – in Germany and beyond – for sustainable funding for WHO and our partners.”
