Shikha Jain, the President and CEO Founder of Women in Medicine, recently shared on LinkedIn:
”A HUGE shout out to my brother and his friend for helping me capture this once-in-a-lifetime experience of seeing the work we do at Women In Medicine (WIM) and WIM Summit featured in Times Square NYC today!
The gender gap in healthcare impacts all of us, healthcare workers, our patients, and our communities. We must work harder than ever to regain the ground lost by COVID19 and start to work toward real intentional change at a faster pace than we are currently. It negatively impacts clinical trials, clinical outcomes, morbidity and mortality, medical advances, and so much more when our healthcare workers and leaders are not representative of the people we serve.
Join us if you can this Sep 22-23 in Chicago or virtually at the WIM Stronger Together, WIM Summit to learn strategies and tools to work towards change.
If you can’t make it this year, consider donating to our 501(c)3 nonprofit organization to help us continue to do this incredibly important work.”
