Tunji Alausa: Our College of Medicine, University of Lagos Class of 1992 Reunion

Tunji Alausa, Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare for the Federal Republic of Nigeria shared on X:

“Yesterday, I was honored to receive the Rising Star Award alongside my dear friend, the Honourable Minister Idris Salako, Dr. Iziaq Salako, Minister of State for Environment, at our College of Medicine, University of Lagos (Medilag) Class of 1992 Reunion.

It’s been nearly 30 years since I last saw most of my classmates, so it was truly a blessing to laugh, converse, and reminisce among them.

I always look back fondly on my time at Medilag, as it was when I formed many cherished friendships and discovered my passion for medicine.

I extend my thanks to the Chairlady of our Alumni Class’s Executive Committee, Dr. Bimpe Adebajo; the Treasurer, Dr. Sylvia Cole; and the rest of the executive committee for organizing a wonderful event and for honoring Dr. Salako and me.

I look forward to our next event!”
