Ana Velázquez Mañana: Why is advocating for Cancer Research funding is everyone’s responsibility?

Ana Velázquez Mañana shared on X/Twitter:

“Why is advocating for Cancer Research funding everyone’s responsibility?

Cancer affects everyone

National Cancer Institute has 13% less buying power in 2023 compared with 2003

That means MOST research ideas, potential cures, and interventions that can improve the lives of people with cancer go unfunded.

You can get involved.”
