Jan-Henning Klusmann: We are thrilled to announce the 35th GPOH Kind-Philipp-Meeting

Jan-Henning Klusmann, Professor of Pediatrics at the Goethe University Frankfurt, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“We are thrilled to announce the 35th GPOH Kind-Philipp-Meeting, a distinguished event dedicated to research advancements in pediatric hematology and oncology. This prestigious gathering will be held in the scenic locale of Wilsede, Germany, from June 5th to 8th, 2024.

We encourage you to visit our website for detailed information and to complete your registration. Please note, the deadline for abstract submission is April 1st, 2024.

IMPORTANT: Given the overwhelming interest in past years and our limited capacity, we highly recommend early registration (now possible separate from abstract submission) to secure your spot – it’s on a first-come, first-served basis.

The GPOH Kind-Philipp-Meeting is an intellectual feast, covering a spectrum of scientific inquiries in pediatric hematology and oncology. Topics span from the molecular and omics and functional characteristics of cancer cells to the latest in molecular diagnostics and innovative therapeutic approaches. Our interactive format encourages rich exchanges of cutting-edge, unpublished data among leading and young scientists across Europe.

This year, we are honored to host four keynote lectures by renowned experts: Brian Huntly (University of Cambridge), Florian Heidel (Medizinische Hochschule Hannover), Anton Henssen (Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin), and Katrin Ottersbach (The University of Edinburgh). These sessions promise to enlighten us on the latest in cancer pathogenesis and groundbreaking technologies.

The meeting is not only a platform for established scientists and clinicians but also warmly welcomes young researchers, including PhD and medical students, basic scientists and clinician scientists to engage in meaningful discussions with opinion leaders.
