The authors of this new paper led by Dr Khalid El Bairi, a clinician researcher in the field of ovarian oncology from Morocco, discussed novel targets and drugs based on the abstracts communicated in these two influential meetings. This critical review also focused on novel biomarkers for better predicting treatment outcomes and selecting appropriate patients for emerging targeted therapies such as antibody-drug conjugates.
