“Today, I am in Kazakhstan as our WHO Athens Office on Quality of Care and Patient Safety and the WHO Country Office in Kazakhstan, in collaboration with Astana Medical University, Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, and the Kazakh School of Public Health launches the in-person week of the European Public Health Leadership Course 2024.
With support from the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan, we aim to strengthen public health professionals’ leadership competencies.
Participants from 8 countries within the WHO European Region, including 5 Central Asian Republics, are joining this innovative course to share their experiences, successful strategies, and innovative solutions for addressing public health challenges.”
