With over two decades of experience as an oncologist and clinical leader, Douglas Flora believes in the transformative potential of artificial intelligence and technology, envisioning a future where these tools enhance the quality of care and patient experience in oncology. Holding a Doctor of Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health, Douglas Flora is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified professional.

Currently serving as the executive medical director of oncology services at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Douglas Flora spearheads the clinical operations, strategic planning, and expansion of cancer programs. He co-founded the Center for Precision Medicine & Genomic Health, leading the development of pioneering precision medicine initiatives and research. Douglas Flora has a pivotal role in the creation of a world-class cancer screening program and the establishment of two cutting-edge cancer centers.

Douglas Flora is also the editor-in-chief of AI in Precision Oncology, a prestigious academic journal driving innovation in oncology and artificial intelligence. Actively engaged as a board member of the American Cancer Society and the Association of Community Cancer Centers, he contributes to advocacy, education, and innovation in the cancer community.

His mission is to foster personalized, efficient, and compassionate care, restoring the vital human connection in medical practice and empowering caregivers to provide meaningful support to patients throughout their medical journeys.

About Gevorg Tamamyan

The host, Dr. Gevorg Tamamyan is the Editor-in-chief of OncoDaily, Head of the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia, Chairman and Professor of the Department of Hematology and Pediatric Oncology at Yerevan State Medical University, CEO of the Immune Oncology Research Institute, President-Elect of the Pediatric Oncology East and Mediterranean (POEM) Group. He is also the Adviser to the Rector of YSMU and to the Director of the Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center. He is a Co-Founder and Board Member of the Armenian Association of Hematology and Oncology, City of Smile Charitable Foundation, Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Cancer and Crisis, the Former President of the Harvard Club of Armenia.

Dr. Tamamyan is the Past-Chair of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) IDEA Steering Group and International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP) PODC Supportive care WG, Ambassador of the Society of Hematologic Oncology. He was selected for the ASCO Leadership Development Program and currently is a member of the ASCO International Committee. He is a recipient of numerous awards and distinctions, among them the ASCO IDEA and LIFe Awards, 40 under 40 in Cancer Award, he was recognized as a Young Leader of the International Agency for Cancer Research (IARC) and Union for International Cancer Control (UICC).
