Sendurai Mani: Pushing Boundaries with Dedication and Determination for Love and Passion

Pushing Boundaries with Dedication and Determination for Love and Passion

I’m honored to share the inspiring story of my good friend, Mr. John Tarantino, and his late wife, Ms. Pat Tarantino. Pat faced pancreatic cancer with incredible bravery. Before she passed, she made a heartfelt request to John: continue the fight against pancreatic cancer not just for her but for everyone it touches.

In her memory, John established the John and Pat Tarantino Charitable Foundation. His efforts to raise awareness about pancreatic cancer and the critical importance of early diagnosis are truly remarkable. To mark the second anniversary of Pat’s passing on April 16, 2022, John completed an astounding 31,622 push-ups in 30 days. John’s unconditional love for Pat and his unwavering commitment to fulfilling her wish is profoundly commendable.

As part of this ongoing battle against pancreatic cancer, my research team at Legorreta Cancer Center at Brown University and many others around the globe are working hard to fight against pancreatic cancer with the hope of making Pat’s wish come true.”
