Kimryn Rathmell: I’m proud to welcome Dr. Warren Kibbe as NCI’s deputy director for data science and strategy

“I’m proud to welcome Dr. Warren Kibbe as NCI’s deputy director for data science and strategy. His leadership will help guide the National Cancer Institute toward growing a diverse and talented data science workforce, as well as exploring novel advanced technologies and methods. Welcome, Dr.Kibbe!”

Dr. Kimryn Rathmell is a distinguished leader and researcher in the field of kidney cancer. Specializing in the research and treatment of complex and hereditary kidney cancers.

She has held leadership positions with organizations such as the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society for Clinical Investigation, she has been elected to esteemed academies including the Association of American Physicians, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the National Academy of Medicine.

Currently serving as the director of the National Cancer Institute, Dr. Rathmell continues to lead research initiatives and advance the understanding and treatment of kidney cancer, ultimately improving the lives of patients worldwide.

Dr. Daniel Stover is a medical oncologist specializing in breast cancer treatment at the OSUCCC – James. He also serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Ohio State University. As a member of the Translational Therapeutics Program, his research integrates tumor genomic profiling with patient characteristics and outcomes to develop new treatments for breast cancer.
