Amy Hay was appointed Chief Business Officer at the Cell Therapy Manufacturing Center (CTMC), a collaboration between National Resilience and MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Amy Hay is a business executive with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare and biotechnology sectors, specializing in driving strategic growth, developing high-impact partnerships, and implementing innovative solutions that improve global healthcare systems and patient outcomes.
Her work focuses on oncology care, leveraging her deep knowledge of the industry to drive the commercialization of cutting-edge therapies and improve access to life-saving treatments worldwide.
Currently, Amy serves as the Chief Business and Strategy Officer at the Cell Therapy Manufacturing Center (CTMC), a joint venture between National Resilience and MD Anderson Cancer Center.
In this role, she leads the company’s overall business strategy, focusing on market penetration, partnership development, revenue generation, and long-term growth.
Amy is instrumental in driving the commercialization of cell therapies, from early-stage discovery through to market adoption, ensuring that these innovations are accessible to patients globally.
Her expertise lies in navigating complex market dynamics, forging strategic partnerships, and identifying opportunities that align the business with key healthcare stakeholders to accelerate progress in oncology care.
Before her role at CTMC, Amy was Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Varian, where she played a key role in shaping the company’s global oncology strategy.
She was responsible for driving strategic initiatives, developing partnerships, and managing business operations across a variety of oncology solutions.
During her tenure, Amy worked closely with global healthcare providers, hospitals, and research institutions to enhance oncology treatments and increase the reach of innovative technologies.
She also led efforts to integrate new technologies into oncology practices, optimizing care delivery and improving patient outcomes.
Amy holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration with a focus on finance from Houston Christian University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southwestern University.
