Sendurai Mani: I once dreamed of becoming a politician

Sendurai Mani shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Experiencing the Life of a Politician: Insights from Leadership Rhode Island

Growing up, I once dreamed of becoming a politician. Recently, I had the chance to experience a slice of political life in Rhode Island as part of the Leadership Rhode Island course with my wonderful Upsilon II class. We engaged in the full legislative process: discussing, debating, and voting on a bill.

This experience was truly enlightening, and I gained a profound appreciation for the dedication of our state senators and representatives. They work tirelessly to ensure everything runs smoothly, always with the public’s best interests at heart. Thank you to all who contribute to our governance with such commitment!

Special thanks to Teresa DeFlitch, Michelle Carr, Kristin M. Zosa Puleo, Samantha Bergbauer, Chris Donovan, Renzo Arteta, Lyanh Ramirez Gentile, Jacklyn Xavier, Rose Kenyon, Richard Staples Jr., and several others who make this program an effective, practical method of learning about leadership.”
