Could CAR T-cell therapy show promise against deadly childhood brain cancer – Cancer Research Institute
Cancer Research Institute (CRI) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Could CAR T-cell therapy show promise against deadly childhood brain cancer? Marking one of its ‘first successes against solid tumors,’ results published in Springer Nature’s Nature showcase how CAR T-cell therapy shrank children’s brain tumors, restored neurologic function, and for one participant in the Stanford University School of Medicine clinical trial, erased all detectable traces of a brain cancer usually considered incurable.
Dive deeper into the findings of investigators, including CRI Lloyd J. Old Star Dr. Robbie Majzner, and explore their impact.”
