Sendurai Mani: United Steps – Raising Cancer Awareness through Urban Hikes

United Steps: Raising Cancer Awareness through Urban Hikes.

We, the members of the Mani Laboratory, in collaboration with our friends and family and the remarkable Leadership Rhode Island class Upsilan II team 6, also known as ‘Six in the City,’ are launching an initiative at Lincoln Woods.

United by a common purpose, we will walk together to raise awareness and advocate for cancer, a cause that has touched countless lives. This walk symbolizes solidarity, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to making a difference.

As we traverse the scenic trails of Lincoln Woods, we carry the hopes and aspirations of countless individuals and families touched by cancer. Our presence will serve as a beacon of hope, igniting a spark of courage and resilience in the hearts of those battling this formidable disease.

Through our collective efforts, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of cancer, promote early detection, and advocate for accessible and equitable healthcare. With every step we take, we honor the memory of loved ones lost to cancer and celebrate the remarkable stories of survivors, reminding everyone that they are not alone in this fight.

The Mani Lab, our friends, and the LRI class U2 team ‘Six in the City’ stand united and are determined to make a positive impact as we walk together at Lincoln Woods for cancer awareness.

Are you interested in joining us? Please come to the Lincoln Woods Beach Parking lot at 8 AM on Saturday, 7/20/24.”
