Paula Johnson: Congratulations to Wellesley College Trustee Ophelia Dahl ’94 on being named to Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in the world

Paula Johnson, President of Wellesley College, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Congratulations to Wellesley College Trustee Ophelia Dahl ’94 on being named to Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in the world for her pioneering work as co-founder of Partners In Health.

The impact Ophelia has had on global health—and continues to have—is truly an inspiration. As the Time profile said, Ophelia believes, ‘We simply don’t have to accept the injustice all around us. Even when everything feels hopeless and the world’s problems feel intractable, [she] has shown that together we can heal the sick and the world’.

This is such a well-deserved honor and highlights what we at Wellesley College know all too well—that Ophelia is a compassionate leader, an unstoppable force for good, and a pathbreaker who has lived her life helping those who need it the most.”
