Once again, Neha Vapiwala is on the ticket to be the next president! Below are a few words to share why she’s got my vote, even though her running mate is a wonderful alternative.

Neha is a tireless advocate for moving cancer care forward through interdisciplinary collaborations focusing on high-quality care, research, and education.

Few radoncs (radiation oncologists) worldwide are as skilled in developing partnerships with other specialties, explaining why she’s been recognized as FACR (Fellow of the American College of Radiology) and FASCO (Fellow of the American Society of Clinical Oncology), in addition to FASTRO (Fellow of the American Society for Radiation Oncology).

She’s among the rare radoncs to hold leadership positions within ASCO.

She’s also one of the rare radoncs serving as dean at one of the top medical schools in the US (Dean of Admissions, University of Pennsylvania).
