“Immuno-Mexico 2024 was a wonderful and productive course. A very important highlight from this course was the environment of belonging (Look at all the big smiles!).

Kudos to the organizers (Drs. Jose C. Crispin and Yvonne Rosenstein) who, in addition to the great immunology lectures, provided a safe space for the students to discuss essential topics that hinder progress in STEM fields with Dr. Sara Frias Martinez, a sociologist expert in gender studies.

Additional discussions by Dr. Rosana Pelayo and Dr. Yanet Valdez Tejeira on DEI complemented Dr. Frias’ discussions.

We must give wings to students to fly as high as possible. So much talent in this course…
