“As we wrap up another incredible year at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Conference in San Diego, I am truly amazed by the groundbreaking research and advancements in cancer treatment that have been showcased.
The dedication and passion of researchers and advocates from all over the world have been inspiring.
One highlight from the event that we should all take with us is the importance of collaboration and the power of advocacy in the fight against cancer. The opportunities for networking and learning from each other have been invaluable throughout the sessions.
I had the privilege of being part of VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center booth, Dr. Rob Winn, Director of VCU Massey and meeting diverse individuals who are all working towards the same goal of finding a cure for cancer. It was truly a humbling experience.
As we all head back to our respective destinations, let’s carry with us the knowledge and connections we have gained from this conference, and continue to work together to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.
