Tim Probart: I’m delighted to welcome Dr. Simon Sutcliffe as the new Editor-in-Chief of Cancer Control

Tim Probart, CEO and Publisher at Global Health Dynamics recently posted on LinkedIn:

“I’m delighted to welcome Dr. Simon Sutcliffe as the new Editor-in-Chief of Cancer Control. He takes the helm from the late Dr. Ian Magrath, founding President of INCTR, who had worked on the Cancer Control series since its inauguration in 2012 as an annual publication to bring together academics, NGOs, healthcare professionals, and policymakers to help improve cancer care in low- and middle-income countries worldwide.

Dr. Sutcliffe is a clinical oncologist, Founder and President of Two Worlds Cancer Collaboration and former President and CEO of Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and BC Cancer. His career has encompassed both academic clinical practice and leadership of cancer institutions and provincial cancer control programs. Current activities involve palliative care and cancer control in lesser-resourced countries through direct partnerships and collaborative global cancer networks.

‘I’m excited about working with Global Health Dynamics to help bridge the disparities in cancer control between the higher and lesser-resourced worlds, and to help expand the active role the publication plays in reinforcing global networks directed to better population health and cancer control,’ Dr. Sutcliffe said.
