“HISTORIC FIRST IN-PERSON MEETING OF THE ENOHE INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS COMMITTEE! On June 12th, 2024, in Covilhã, the ENOHE International Relations Committee (IRC) held its first-ever in-person meeting. This gathering marked a significant milestone for our committee, which has been diligently working across 16 time zones since its inception in fall 2023.
A special shoutout to our chair, Josef Leidenfrost, for his leadership and to all committee members for their invaluable contributions. We gathered from across the globe to strategize and discuss our mission of promoting the Ombuds service. Our photo captures the joy and commitment of our diverse team, ready to innovate and drive ENOHE’s objectives forward.

Dr. Csaba Laszlo Dégi, the first ombudsman at Babeș-Bolyai University (BBU) in Cluj Napoca, Romania, and part of ENOHE (European Network of Ombuds in Higher Education) since 2020, is an active member of ENOHE’s IRC.
LOOKING AHEAD: The IRC is excited to support the ENOHE Presidency and Board, contributing to the ENOHE 2024 Annual Conference in Covilhã and the upcoming Strategic Plan 2026-2030. Join us in celebrating this milestone and stay tuned for more updates as we continue to shape the future of Ombuds services worldwide. Let’s continue this journey together!”
