“A special moment in the Máxima today: Fien (7) opened the new part of the day treatment on the second floor of the Princess Máxima Center. The day treatment has been expanded with more quiet areas for children and parents. This allows more privacy for those who want it. There are also consultation rooms, where families can have conversations with caregivers.

Every day we work to improve the treatment of childhood cancer. Therefore, we are pleased with the adjustments in the day treatment. This allows us to offer children with cancer even better care.”
