“Last Friday, on May 31, the OncoDaily Party and Yvonne Awards Ceremony took place in Chicago.
Over 1,000 participants registered for this significant event, including oncologists from around the world, leaders of societies and cancer centers, representatives of patient organizations and philantropists, biotech and pharma, all under one roof.
This event was extremely important for our OncoDaily team, showcasing the global professional community’s appreciation for our work.
That day also we launched the new OncoDaily Magazine, distributed in thousands of copies worldwide, as well as the OncoDaily Medical Journal, which is set to become one of the leading scientific journals globally in the coming years.
The Yvonne Award received a warm welcome from the international professional community, with the award recognizing renowned young oncologists from around the world. The nomination committee consisted of legendary names and leaders in oncology.
There is no doubt that it will become the Oscar of the oncology world..
A year ago, when we created OncoDaily with Samvel Chakhalyan, we were confident we were doing something good, but we couldn’t have imagined that within a few months, it would become a leading media platform in the oncology field worldwide.
This success is the result of a fantastic team, and the best is yet to come.
I want to thank the organizing committee and its co-chair, my good friend and renowned oncologist Yelena Janjigian (USA), the Yvonne Award nomination committee and co-chairs, world-known oncologists Lillian Siu (Canada) and Giuseppe Curigliano (Italy), famous philanthropist and a wonderful Armenian Jack Youredjian (USA) and his family, the amazing Agenus team and its leader, great Armenian, philatropist and visionary, and my dear friend Dr. Garo Armen and his entire team.
And of course, the entire OncoDaily family (both staff and friends), who, whether present in Chicago or spread across different parts of the world, worked tirelessly 24/7 to fulfill their crucial mission of being the voice of oncology for everyone worldwide.
