“On June 14, the Blood Bank, Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center, and celebrated the World Donor Day in Armenia.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia and the Armenian Red Cross Society, we organised an open-air blood donation and awareness campaign in Yerevan.
However, the celebration also happened in the marzes (regions) of Armenia as well.
Many people experienced their first blood donation that day, and many were experienced donors who shared their wish to join the celebration and help raise awareness of the importance of blood donation, especially in Armenia.
We appreciate everyone’s engagement and support.
We hope many more people will be inspired and join the blood donor community.
