  • Preparation is Key: Before starting radiation therapy, it’s essential to be well-prepared. This includes seeing your dentist for a thorough dental check-up and addressing any issues before treatment begins. Your dentist can also provide valuable insights into how radiation may affect your oral health and recommend preventive measures.
  • Consultation with Specialists: Your healthcare team will consist of various specialists, including radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, nurses, dentists, swallowing specialists, and dietitians.
