“Was tickled to be invited to the Tickled Pink Luncheon and share how we at American Cancer Society are touching more than 55M unique lives through patient support, 70M lives through American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), and activating more than $400M in active research funding as the largest non-government funder of cancer research.
Was also such a pleasure to honor my new friend Janette Marx, CEO of Airswift (who are also generous supporters of the Houston Hope Lodge), alongside Nelda, Chree, Shelley, Cheryl, Evelyn, and Sue). And really appreciate the invitation of Honorary Chair Leisa Holland-Nelson whose personal passion encapsulates the collective commitment of people of Houston to ending cancer as we know it, for everyone.
And huge shout out to my colleagues who led this event from the American Cancer Society(ACS) side, including Jeff Fehlis, Julie Davidson, Jenny Todd, and Jennifer Bennett. Can’t wait to up my pink outfit game for next year’s event.”
