SUMMARY:LBCA 2026 Lobular Breast Cancer Awareness Tour
DESCRIPTION:The Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance (LBCA) will launch its nationwide “It’s Time to Talk About Lobular Breast Cancer!” Awareness Tour on September 26\, 2026\, following the ILC Symposium in San Francisco\, and travel across the United States through October 15\, 2026 – Lobular Breast Cancer Awareness Day. \nThe campaign aims to increase awareness of invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC)\, which accounts for nearly 50\,000 new diagnoses each year yet remains unfamiliar to much of the public and many people affected by breast cancer. \nA specially wrapped awareness bus will visit more than 10 cities\, five hospital ILC programs\, athletic events\, and advocate gatherings\, sharing educational information about ILC and LBCA resources while documenting the journey through social media. Patients\, advocates\, healthcare professionals\, and community members can participate by joining the launch or local tour stops\, sharing their ILC stories\, supporting the campaign\, or helping raise awareness in their communities.
