SUMMARY:Clinical Trial Statistics for Non-Statisticians Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Clinical Trial Statistics for Non-Statisticians workshop is scheduled for June 9–12\, 2026\, in Brussels\, Belgium. Organized by the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC)\, this four-day educational event is designed to provide non-statisticians and early-career statisticians with a foundational understanding of statistical methods used in the design\, conduct\, and analysis of cancer clinical trials. \nThe program includes an optional introductory half-day on probability and statistics\, followed by in-depth sessions on phase I–III trial designs\, time-to-event endpoints\, biomarker-based study designs\, and adaptive trials. Participants will engage in “Stat Clinics” – interactive\, parallel workshops focused on practical applications such as sample size calculation and survival analysis – to equip them to appraise research and collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary clinical teams critically.
