DESCRIPTION:Multidisciplinary Management of Breast Cancer by ESTRO will be held from April 03-06\, 2025 at Istanbul\, Turkey and Virtually. \nThis course is designed for specialists and trainees in radiation and clinical oncology\, including doctors\, physicists\, radiation therapists\, breast nurses\, and researchers\, with an interest in advancing their knowledge of breast cancer management. It encourages a multidisciplinary approach to treatment\, focusing on personalized care based on clinical presentation\, prognostic factors\, and patient needs\, while emphasizing shared decision-making. \nBy the end of the course\, participants will be able to understand the epidemiology\, clinical\, and biological aspects of breast cancer\, recognize different prognostic factors and tumor subtypes\, and interpret multimodality treatment results. Topics include primary and axillary surgery\, modern radiation therapy techniques\, re-irradiation\, fractionation schedules\, emerging treatments like particle therapy\, interactions between systemic treatment and radiation\, and the management of DCIS and locally advanced disease.
