SUMMARY:ESSO Course: Ultrasound in Breast Cancer Surgery
DESCRIPTION:The Ultrasound in Breast Cancer Surgery course\, organized by the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO)\, will take place on September 28–29\, 2026\, in Cremona\, Italy.  \nThis Level 1\, in-person course will provide breast surgeons\, surgical oncologists\, and trainees with theoretical and hands-on training in the use of ultrasound in breast cancer surgery. \nThe programme covers ultrasound fundamentals for surgeons\, intraoperative ultrasound\, ultrasound-guided breast surgery\, localisation techniques\, margin assessment\, biopsies and VABB\, axillary localisation\, and advanced technologies\, combining lectures\, clinical case discussions\, surgical videos\, phantom-based practical sessions\, and workshops with patients. The course is currently operating through a waiting list.
