SUMMARY:Young Adult Cancers Symposium by Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center
DESCRIPTION:The Young Adult Cancers Symposium\, hosted by the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center (VICC)\, is a CME-accredited\, multidisciplinary event scheduled for Saturday\, November 15\, 2025\, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The symposium’s mission is to empower young adults aged 20-45 who are affected by cancer. It will be held at a unique Nashville venue\, The Listening Room Cafe (618 4th Avenue South). The program focuses on addressing the unique challenges this demographic faces\, with sessions covering critical topics such as fertility preservation\, financial toxicity\, survivorship\, and the treatment of breast\, colorectal\, and hematologic cancers. \nThe symposium features an impressive lineup of nationally renowned faculty from top institutions\, including VICC\, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute\, MD Anderson Cancer Center\, and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. While the event does have a fee (varying by attendee type\, e.g.\, Physicians\, Other Healthcare Providers\, and Survivors/Patients)\, the organizers are supporting the community by offering free registration to the first 100 registered survivors/patients. Attendees can also earn up to 6 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
