Alisher Kahharov: Training at the Prestigious Saint-Louis Hospital in Paris
Alisher Kahharov, Fellow in Breast Cancer Unit at Inga University Hospital, shared a post on Facebook:
“I am thrilled to share that I had the distinct honor of undertaking a training program from July 1st to July 11th, 2025, at the prestigious Saint-Louis Hospital in Paris. Saint-Louis Hospital is the first public hospital in Paris for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, with more than 1000 new patients per year. Under the expert guidance of Professor Cédric de Bazelaire, Professeur des Universités – Praticien Hospitalier (PU-PH) MD-PhD Université Paris Cité, I was able to delve deeply into the techniques of image-guided minimally invasive breast interventions. This invaluable experience was enriched by the exceptional knowledge and leadership of Professor de Bazelaire, renowned for his expertise in breast cancer imaging and treatment.
I am also extremely grateful to the entire Breast Radiology team at Saint-Louis Hospital, whose dedication and expertise significantly contributed to my learning experience. Their support and collaboration provided me with profound insights and skills that I will carry forward in my career.
Additionally, I am thankful to Dr. Florence Veber, the head of the international department at AP-HP hospital group, for her unwavering support throughout this journey. Her assistance was instrumental in facilitating this enriching experience.
A special thank you goes to Dr. Teresa Orsi, whose detailed explanations and mentorship greatly enhanced my understanding and skills during the training.
This opportunity to learn and grow with some of the leading minds in breast cancer treatment has been truly inspiring, and I am looking forward to applying these advanced techniques in my future work.”
